Sorry for the "bone" question, but please can somebody advise if there are any "credits" for hours or exams for an ATPL(A) (10,500TT) to get a UK PPL(H)?
What are the minimum flight hours to get a PPL(H)?
Many thanks,
Jez

You get 5hrs credit which takes it to 40 to do and have to take the Helicopter Technical exam.

Thanks, but the "Rotorheads" mob say that it's 6 hours....................

No, the Rotorheads mob say it's a maximum of 6 hours .....:rolleyes:

It's actually 10% of your fixed wing flight time up to a maximum of 6. Since Cambioso has more than 60 hours, his or her exemption is 6.

Who am I to argue! :} :} :}

Cheers

Was that 10500 hours of varied experience or the same hour 10500 times over? :confused:

This is already being discussed in this thread. (http://www.pprune.org/rotorheads/102183-fixed-wing-rotary-career-incl-changing-licence-rotary-12.html) Since this has been moved from another forum, it is superfluous to keep two threads going on the same subject.
