well this is my first post so here goes...
Word has it that a few weeks ago Fly Kumba flew between Johannesburg and Bulawayo, using an air Namibia 737-500. Does any one know anything about this ?

Yes, they've been flying for about 2 or 3 weeks now, using Air Namibia 737-500 3x weekly (Tue,Thu,Sat). Guess that's all that Air Nam can do for them, as it's the only days the aircraft is available at JNB, when not doing flights to Lusaka with Zambezi Airlines.
Aircraft operating simultaneously for 3 airlines...Air Namibia (JNB-WDH), Zambezi (JNB-LUN or NLA) and FlyKumba (JNB-BUQ)

Sorry, but had to have a chuckle when I read the requirements for employment: Cabin crew need to be able to swim....... Is that incase the plane happens to go down in the Limpopo river????

In which case an ability to fight crocodiles would be more useful than swimmimg skills.

Does anyone know how familiar these gentlemen are with the aviation industry. What I cannot fathom is the Website and booking system (it does not have one) Its one of the most basic business rules, have an easy interface with you target market. You need the IT side sorted.
