Some years ago I had an accident on a motorcycle. The result was a dislocation and subsequent fracturing of the radial head in my left elbow. I had the radial head removed and a prosthetic implanted. The prosthetic started to wear and that too was removed. The final result being that scare tissue now hold the radius in place.
There have been no events where the bone has been dislodged and the only problem is that there is crepitus(??) under weight bearing exercises, ie push-ups etc.
My problem/question is this....being only a younger pilot, still trying to make it in a major carrier, will this condition preclude me from employment? ie pass the company medical exam?
I have, and still hold, a currnet class 1 with no conditions and an excellent previous record.
Any idea of what I'm up against would help...AME's, company doc's.
