and what about Venezuela??
how is small commercial aviation arround there??

I checke up, some things, and I bump into the need of nationality for Aserca, and many others big-planes companies..
but, what about the small ones, the ones flying turist to Los roques or Santa Margarita, or any other islands.???

how is the wellcome for foreigners? and there CPL convalidation?
any chance with only the PPL-FAA??

hahaha, I believe so..
but I hold a frozenATPL-JAA and our king made his mouth shut once...so we´re quite friendly :}
I guess there´s better chance for an european, anyone there already?

I believe you have to a naturally born Venezuelan citizen to get a job there.... could be wrong but thats what our handlers told us when we flew freight in there.

A quick view of the classified section of Volar en Venezuela will reveal that all openings are for Venezuelan citizens with INAC licenses.

The exception is for pilots for Santa Barbara Airlines-- they are looking for Captains and FO's who hold 757 type ratings and have a US Green Card and US ATP.
