Oz to Athens.
There's 2 ways you could go. Across the middle east, over India, Singapore Dawin Sydney. Or. Athens,Maldives, Cocus Island Karatha, Sydney.
Would the oceanic route be cheaper in way of en route nav charges. Also traffic wise for optimum levels etc.
Is it worth it do go a longer route to avoid overflyig places such as india which i have heared can be problematic in gettig overflight clearances.
What about diversions, alternates due wx, if your alternate is in another county do you have to get a seperate overflight/landing permit as well. Now what happens in an emergency, such a s a depresurisation or engine out, you have to divert to an airfield in a cluntry that you have no overflight or landing approval. What happens then.
