The last refurbished A380 (MSN002) will be moved to the flightline hangars next week to have it's engines installed. Once finished, the aircraft will be complete and ready outfitting.

Over the past few months MSN002 was fitted with new doors and windows before being put on the flightline last week.

The sad thing is that MSN002 is to be put into storage until 2012 (At Owners Request). The frame is most likely to be stored in Toulouse.

On Thursday I was able to spend 30 minutes looking over the QF 380 that blew an engine earlier this week. What an amazing bit of kit inside and out, After 40 years in the aviation game it is great to be excited about an aircraft! BA will not be flying them yet for a couple of years therefore I may have tp pay up and travel on one of them!

Save your money guys and then book a trip on one.

MSN002 was not put into the hangars last week. It will now be stored on the flightline until 2012. The aircraft has now been emptied of all Airbus test equipment.

Am I correct in saying that this aircraft was destined for Kingdom Holding in Saudi Arabia?
