I have heard some rumours that the agency Rishworth are not to be trusted regarding contracts, specifically in respect of their contracts for working with Vietnam Airlines. Can anyone shed any light on this? It may be just someone stirring things up. As an Airbus driver I am interested in working out there.

There are several companies offering the exact same contracts. Shop around. Rishworth seems to have had issues in the past according to older posts.

Doing a search on here will turn up mostly negative experiences/contracts with Rishworth.
Nothing, if anything, good has been said about them compared to other agencies.
My own experiences of trying to get a job via them in the past, only because they were the only way into a particular airline, showed the agent did not have a clue.

Rishworth has also the nickname RISHWORSE.... No support when you are with them. Too scared to stand up for you despite the Airlines failure to comply with the Contract.

I had applied a few years back thru them for a position and I can only support the statement that the Agent at that time had no clue. There is only one person in that Organisation who is determined to get You a secure position. She is now in a Senoir Position within Rishworth. Unfortunatly she has to delegate the administrative part to a Agent and then you are back to square one.

If you can choose another Agency. Usually there is not only one Agent offering the same Job. Search Flightinternational, climbtofl350 or similar pages and you will find what you are looking for.

There are several Agencies: Asiaaviation, Contractair DPI, EPA, FCI, GAP, Hawaiian, IAC, Parc, Sigmar, Titan, Wynnwith and a few more.....

Best of luck! In Vietnam, you can fly PARC, DPI or Rishworth on the A320/321. PARC is a class act! DPI is new and may pay a bit less, but has a good rep here with happy pilots. Rishworth is the worst! Avoid them! Do not work here for them! Find another contractor elsewhere!
Rishworth is completely unethical! Just search Rishworth and you'll see some of the current problems here! Cheers!

:ugh:

They did not honour the contract, when I left and went to HKG they refused to pay money owing to me as per the contract, and also charged $10,000NZ as a fee per year to remain employed there.

I am sure that there are many better contract companies to work for, or airlines themselves...Only go if u are desperate!!!

I can't tell you about the Vietnam contract, but Rishworth Europe is to be avoided by any means!!!
They are just low class crooks.

Beware... Rishworth are the bottom feeders of the bottome feeders:=. I'm sorry:{... calling Rishworth a bottom feeder operation is an insult to those who are just plain bottome feeders:*.

Being a NZ company, they are pretty far away from harms way if one desires to take legal action against the lot:(.

Beware:eek:!

What I believe pilots are looking for on these forums is a an account of the current conditions here, not malicious lies and embellishment that you and your room mate must resort to, if things are as bad as you report, the truth should be sufficient.

The health insurance policy for Rishworth has always been as good if not better than any contractor here for at least the last six years. Except for one occasion, pay has been payed on time without fail.

Mike, if your going to tell us how good DPI is, why don't you at least do some research, of course it's hard to continue the RAL bashing with the facts...:yuk:

Liars and cheats. I am over GBP3000 out of pocket after having done a course in order to qualify for a job. Told I'm on the next intake, then I'm only on the list, then nothing.

Stay away. Slippery JP needs careful watching.:yuk:

For the people who are still tempted to work for these crooks, here's what happened to one of our F/Os on a contract handled by Rishworth:
the f/o got seriously ill, seriousely enough to be transported to the nearest hospital in the middle of the night. When he left the local hospital to be transfered in a hospital back in his country, he had to pay the hospital fees (still not paid back by the Rishworth insurance), and when pay day came, Rishworth blocked his salary pretending that maybe he wasn't really ill....

You're barking up the wrong tree mate, Rishworth has never had an insurance problem in the six years that I have been in Vietnam, quite good insurance, yes you have to pay up front, but never a problem to get reimbursed.

For your information, DPI doesn't even offer health insurance, PARC requires you to pay the first $200.00 dollars.
