I've mentioned the AAPOS site on this bulleting board before, I'm always willing to 'plug' them, because they are so good:
Basically, an American site, specialising in paediatric strabismus and all sorts of other conditions. Don't let the 'paediatric' bit put you off, they have postings from just as many adults. Post to them under any name, and one of their experts will quickly give you a (very direct and to-the-point), answer.
