I've always been told I stand out at interviews because of my honesty.
I guess a lot of people must lie at interviews?

Turn up naked except for a Captain's hat with the name of the airline you're applying for written in crayon on the peak.
Random, unexplained words thrown in every now and again will probably help... "BARBRA STREISAND!" Would be unique...

I did my Cathay sim whilst crossing my legs and squirming with barely-controlled explosive diarrhoea from something I ate the night before ... just managed to avoid putting brown stripes on the sheepskins of the B747 sim ... but THAT would have been really unforgettable :D
(and no, I didn't get the job :D )

If the interviewer asks at any point during the interview, a question pertaining to your advantage over other candidates, you should immediately, and at all times maintaining a straight face and eye contact, answer;
"....... Because I've killed before"
