Just curious to the rumour that in Australia 146 pilots have lost their medicals due to contaminated air conditioned cabin air? Anyone who cares to comment?

Wow, yeah. This is a big story so I may be repeating something that is common knowledge. There is an Issue with the Bae146 with fumes from the engines getting into the cabin. In fact I believe it's the subject of an airworthness directive. Seems that on the 5November least year a flight between Paris and Birmingham almost came down with the flight crew affected after they went to the gents mid flight.
