Right... I don't want to have a debate about it - please, please try and resist the temptation to tell me why I shouldn't leave BALPA or to start ranting on about why I'm letting everyone down or what a self-centred little **** I am.
So...
I've been a member of BALPA for a while now and as my airline doesn't recognise the Union, I am beginning to wonder what exactly I get for my subs. Basically, all I want is some kind of legal protection and assistance should I have an accident or incident (I'm not planning on needing it, but you never know). I'm sure I must be able to get this somewhere else, probably for less money and hopefully a higher quality of service.
If anyone has any ideas for alternatives I would be most grateful.

I have always found ALPL to be very reasonable.
