Moorfield eye hospital Uk have pioneered a new system of laser eye surgery which will give poor sighted people not only 20/20 vision but 20 plus/ 20 plus vision.

Their method involves a very accurate positioning system which locates the eye shape to pin prick accuracy.
This is used to construct a 3D image from which the eye is treated to perfection.

The first guinee pig (a woman) was stunned with her new vision.

I wonder whether this may be a new tool to give pilots who already have good vision "superman" eyes

Guys...

Don't quote me on this, but laser eye surgery will DEFINITELY rule you out for a lot of medicals. The RAF and the police certainly won't touch you. I don't know about the CAA, but is it worth it?

Pie.

OK I'll not quote you but here's something from the world of fact; I've had Lasik (Laser surgery) and I have a JAA Class 1.

My AME, says that laser eye treatment is not advised. I assume it will be the same opinion from the CAA.
