I've recently had the class 1 and a heart murmor was found. After consulatation with a cardiologist and ECG, I was found to have two cusps in the aortic valve instead of the usual three. Heart function and flow were entirely normal. Apparently this is quite a common abnormality, 5 - 10% of the population are affected. I'm awaiting the CAA's response and enquiring to see if anyone else has this condition, if it has a bearing on the Class 1 and if so, what restrictions are placed.
