I heard that on Monday this week BA were using a three class 767 on this route. Anybody know anymore and what this plane would normally be used for?

A 3 class 767 is used on the route whenever the usual aircraft, with it's unique configuration, is down for maintenance.. .Only club catering though.. .Normally the 3 class aircraft would operate long haul from LHR to the USA, Africa, and Middle East.

Thanks - my relatives flew it and thought they had been upgraded but had coach service in club seats - I didn't upset them by telling them the truth! So Club passengers get first seats which can't be bad for the overnight sectors!

Tyke, apparently Whisky Hotel - the usual aircraft is notoriously unreliable - I remember mentioning this to the wife of a certain mutual friend when her kids were going unaccompanied to NYC over Christmas. NOT to be recommended.

G-BNWH isn't on the route today, it's G-BNWO... I have no idea what layout that has, but NWH, as Knobby says, is the normal aircraft for this route. When NWH doesn't operate it, NWO normally does. I know that probably won't answer your question, but a bit of background knowledge for you.. . .PS. NWO was one of the only BA 767's in the old Landor colours when I last looked.. has it been painted yet?

Knobby - doing the particular wife in question I'm surprised your comments didn't start a government enquiry! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="smile.gif" />
