Faulty AMETEK Engine Display, Agusta 109E

My Agusta 109E registered VH-DSE is about five years old and only done a little over 500 hours. I seem to have an intermittent AMETEK engine display. Its serial number is 02020925.

Does anyone know who can service these units at a reasonable price? It’s out of warranty. Or can they only be exchanged at some enormous cost?

Any advice or any feedback on experience with these units would be greatly appreciated.

Latest info is it can cost US$30,000 to just get a minor fault repaired.

No way!

Just had ours repaired for a fault in the display, work was done by the authorized shop, and it cost less than $6,000.00.

Average repair cost is around 4K.

I have tried the number you gave for Shannon Howland at Ametek in Mukilteo - the number appears to be disconnected and the email address for Shannon Howland bounces back as undeliverable. Also, dialing the main Ametek phone numbers gets through to their service centre, but calls are placed on hold by an automated system and no-one answers.

Do you have any other contact numbers or any other information whatsoever that might assist?

For the uninitiated what does an AMETEK display do - I'm guessing a screen feeding engine info?
