Plotting Charts

Looking at bulk ordering Indian Ocean and Atlantic plotting charts, any ideas on alternatives to the Jeppessen ones and why they are better? Not against Jepps but want to size up the options!

Have a look for charts from "LIDO" (LH Systems), they may have some plotting charts, too. Airline Operations Solutions - Lufthansa Systems (http://www.lhsystems.com/solutions/airline-solutions/airline-operations-solutions/index.htm) Maybe you want to contact them and have them send you a sample chart for evaluation.

You might want to take a look at Navtech's charts. I have seen their North Atlantic Flight Progress chart and it is very well laid out and good use of colour. Huge amount of information about airports on the reverse.

Dont buy too many. The data changes from time to time and you will be left with out of date information.
