Hi all,

Gonna be spending a lot of time in France from May onwards and was wondering if anyone had any good advice for avoiding paying large sums for data roaming / call making on my uk contract (o2)?

Heard the word unlock and jailbreak banded around, but it's all a bit double dutch to me!

Any advice is much appreciated.
Thanks

try: GeoSIM Global SIM Card. An International SIM card with free roaming and savings of up to 85% when overseas with your mobile phone (http://www.globalsimcard.co.uk/simpig_3g.php)

O2 unlock it for you remotely regardless of how long you have left of your contract. Saves Jailbreaking and doing stuff that'll invalidate the warranty if it goes wrong.
