Heathrow Express to Paddington...will take train.
No trains at Paddington. I mean NO trains at Paddington other than Heathrow Express. Should have taken a photograph.
Oxford Tube - bus line running Victoria Station --- Oxford...not running all day.
Taxi, London to Oxford 123 pounds.
Taxi, Oxford to Wantage 27 pounds.
Home for Christmas.

Goodness! I didn't realise that Heathrow was operating at all on Christmas day!

I think your family should have told you that we Brits don't a thing on X-mas day other than drink sweet sherry, be forced to eat sprouts and admire each others new socks.

Anway, I'll get my own back when I visit Vancouver for the first time later this year :)
