View Full Version : USAF MC-130 ends up in snowdrift during engine run

MC-130 participating in ex. Cold Response in Norway jumped chocks during engine ground run yesterday at Evenes/ENEV.

A/C climbed a snow bank resulting in damage to at least one prop, shedding part of one blade, which in turn ended up in the parking lot of the civ. airport 300 meters away.

One mil person injured and transported to hospital.

I can see the problem - it has lost its wheels so chocks no good!!
