Hello dear colleagues,

Currently I'm working for airline based in Moscow (DME) as flight dispatch and looking for school in order to receive Flight Dispatch license. I've seen Sheffield and Jeppesen Aviation Academy sites and understood that they're provinding graduates with FAA license and that there is no one standard license for dispatchers in Europe.

The question: Can I find a job with FAA license in Europe? Or better to look a school for flight dispatch in Europe such as Lufthansa?

Your ideas are welcome and thanks in advance!

Best regards, Victor

Right, there is no official or mandatory dispatcher licence in europe.

However, if you apply for a job you most likely will be asked for a licence and experience time.

I recommend getting a FAA licence (Sheffield in Ft.Lauderdale, FL also gives you good training and is well known as one of the best dispatcher schools).

As far as I know Lufthansa is not offering any dispatcher courses anymore, but I am not 100% sure.

Thank You very much for full answer. Decided not to get FAA license. Experience is enough for that I think :)
