I realise it's only just been launched, but does anybody know anything about TAM's new first class seats on their 773? I have to travel LHR-GRU in September - I do most of my travel on BA in J (or F if I'm lucky and there's a good deal around), but the TAM website is offering F return for less than than BA, even with Willy's sale on.... Only thing is, there's zero info on the TAM site about the seats. Any tips greatly appreciated, thanks.

Well, to my surprise I flew so many times TAM economy from MIA-GRU and was so well treated and comfy, I would not even want to fly first class. No joke now, the first time I was going to fly intercontinental as a passenger in TAM I really had the "ah, just gonna be another crap 7 hours in a crappy airline" oh boy was I wrong. TAM economy in my opinion much better than BA, Swiss, TAP, any of the American Airliners obviously and so forth. Oh sorry, got a little off topic here, but I just had to mention how amazed I was flying TAM economy. Roomy, good food, happy and helpful flight attendants (the ones that speak with a softer voice and are proud to fly internationally and not hating it like so many these days). The flight entertainment system was pretty much 0 but I read books or take a sleeping pill in flights anyway that last more than 6 hours.
