Just East of BHX today at about 1245 heard an a/c callsign 'French Post' declare Mayday and initiate emergency descent.
The freq was 127.95 or 127.105 I think.
Just wondering what it was due to and also who that callsign is for?
Thanks in advance.

A Quick google search confirms the airline as Europe Airpost.
I haven't a clue what the mayday was for.

May well have been doing rugby fan flights to EDI if it was a daytime flight... unless the post was very late.

Could very well be doing rugby charter flights as there are a few Europost flights expected for the Wales V France.

It was French Post doing rugby flights up to Edinburgh. Had a pressurisation problem. Descended & continued to destination.
