Whats happened or is happening with Aspiring Air in Wanaka these days?

Just wondered if they are still going, got offered a job there many years ago and turned it down for something else. Do they still operate and if so what aircraft, is that Air NZ training Captain still sort of running them or is it all different now.

I see there name about but the website never seems to work, just wondered if they have survived the credit crunch as I have been away from NZ for sometime.

I did my hours building at Aspiring Air on ZK-ELB back in 2004 / 05. I believe ELB passed away one stormy night :{ Shame, we did some awesome trips together.....

I still have a few friends out in Wanaka who say Aspiring are still about, but really struggling to survive. The company has been for sale since the terrible car accident Barry was in 3 years ago and has not been in profit since..

They've still got two islanders, although one is used for spare parts I think.
