Hello

Soon to complete an Aviation Australia mechanical engineering course along with the necessary avionics subjects (doing these to make myself more marketable). This is the new EASA thing (and I'm not keen on redoing the whole lot for a CASA license). (I will graduate at top of my class).

I'm looking for some ideas of who I should talk too of which organisations might a little more receptive to employing a mature age person. I'm early to mid 30's and a qualified accountant. I also hold a very dusty and unused CPL(H). Might have to go back to accounting to make some money as haven't worked in a while.

Location in Oz not really that important as long as I can get some good training and maybe (a possibility) a hour or two behind the controls.

Have thought about doing a type course (B206 or 250 engine or similar - maybe AustAsia) but this early that would be pointless as want I really need is real hands on tool time.

Suggestions good or bad appreciated. Either here or PM.

Cheers
