This is something that all of us need to be aware of. Please take extra care as you go about your duties. Stay safe!

"The UK terror threat level is being raised from "substantial" to "severe", Home Secretary Alan Johnson has said. The new alert level means a terrorist attack is considered "highly likely"."

Well this just shows there is no room for complacency! Not that there was anyway! But yes I will be baring it in mind when I fly. Very important we all are thorough in our checks, if there are any delays as a result so be it, and no doing checks whilst cleaners are onboard to speed things up!

Scary times we live in. And yes everyone stay vigilant and safe!

1. Apparently SIGINT.

2. Apparently linked to India flights.

Keep calm, don't panic.
Stay alert, smile nicely.
Be thorough, don't flap.

Being born is invariably fatal. :)

It's all spin, the threat today is no different to that which it was Friday. It's just a Labour ploy to introduce ID Cards!

Good advice from Slidebustle so what is one of our colleagues from Virgin Atlantic doing over on www.cabincrew.com (http://www.cabincrew.com) ? Selling all her flight manuals on ebay to CC wannabe's!!

And one of the indignant responders says that she thinks that is wrong but it's OK to do what she/he has done in the past......sell items of uniform :=

So if any potential bad guy wants a heads up into how to get round VA's security systems on board or where to find the crash axe for example then just tune into ebay/cabin crew.com. Let's hope the F/D access code is not in these manuals.

It's hard to believe that in todays climate we still employ people who are so incredibly thick and they security check our flights!!:ugh::ugh:

Thankfully Fonejacker and New2monarch reported this

Well done Guys :ok:
