Today an A380 made its 1st landing at ZRH (Zürich) Switzerland. Around 5'000 spotters braved the weather to watch. Singapore Airlines will start its ZRH-SIN service with an A380 in March, if all goes well with the present visit. That will make ZRH the 3rd European A380 Airport (the others being London LHR & Paris CDG).

And today it is 4 European Airports. "Airbus 102" left Zurich and arrived at Geneva at 1110 today, 21 January 2010. It will leave again this afternoon, scheduled at 1545. The idea is to qualify GVA as an alternate for the A380, and also make it accessible to any private "business" A380s that will want to fly into here.
I heard it turn onto finals over my house, but we had low cloud so I did not see it. Half an hour later it was a blue sky!

Well, if we are talking about airports capable of handling A-380s as well as airports with A-380 scheduled services, there are a lot more than just four - Frankfurt, Gatwick, Manchester come to mind.

No, we are just saying that so far only 4 have gone through the regulating procedures.
The others will, in good time.
