Any american crews fly an M registerd aircraft?
If yes, could you tell me under what rules are you flying? is there anything in the JAR rules that is equivalent to a Part91 operation?

Thank you for the help

With a Manx validation on a FAA licence the most restrictive rules of Manx private operation regulation and FAR part 91 must be employed. You have to satisfy both your licensing authority and the aviation authority of the country of registration.

actual any ICAO license will be validated by IOM. If you need more info, I would call them; they are very cooperative

from what I've understood from 2012 you will need a valid JAR license to get a validation to fly acft registered with the M tough...

The IOMAR has a web site. If the answers to any question cannot be found there, the people are VERY user friendly and they welcome telephone enquiries...it prevents uninformed gossip.
