Singapore A380s last night at LHR

Question for you.

Last night at LHR flight SQ321(normal service) called up for clearance followed a short time later by SQ321D, Both 380s. Question being does anyone know why they operated flight SQ321D of gate 595.

It had been u/s with engine problems at LHR since last week.

SQ A380 9VSKA was positioning back empty to Singapore. Looks as if it departed later than originally planned so with 595 being a remote stand used for T3 currently, it was likely moved there for easier handling alongside normal scheduled A380 - closer without being on a premium pier served stand!
