Latest from the Townsville refueller is that skytrans is going to concentrate on turbines only...... no more piston fleet.:cool:

The TSV piston fleet/base has been bought by Westwing so the rumour mill has it.

It is good to see that the TSV Refueller, 'the font of knowledge' has once again scooped the pool. A true legend of sorts, his/her ability to be more accurate than a glideslope is truly miraculous, inspiring and 'robust'.

They're still doing Townsville - Palm Island runs in the 404's. Also heard that the base is changing hands to West Wing at the end of the month.

That would have to piss the guys off who accepted the C404 runs with the promise of progression to the Dash fleet.
Skytrans used to be the pinnacle of Australian GA. Shame :(
At least one of those guys was already on the Dash and was told take the 404 slot or there is no job. I dont think any in Townsville were promised any progression
