Quote from the news article.
Found at Jetstar Pacific Criticized for Safety, Age Reports (Update1) - Bloomberg.com (http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601081&sid=ahrXRLgs7atY)

"Jetstar Pacific Airlines, the Vietnamese carrier, has been criticized by authorities for “very poor and ineffective” safety practices, the Age newspaper reported.

Defects and violations were hidden from supervisors, facilities were substandard and the airline didn’t have enough maintenance personnel,

Spokeswoman, Olivia Wirth, declined to comment."

Why would you put yourself in such danger when flying!! We all have a choice and I chose at every opportunity NOT to fly with Jetstar! DLCC's have no place in aviation!

Get your facts right before you make false accusations.

Jetstar and Jetstar Pacific are not the same airline.

Why not just accuse Qantas of being a dangerous airline, as Jetstar Pacific is actually part owned (27%) by Qantas, and not by Jetstar.

Now how is a DLCC relevant to aviation here ?

I looked up this acronym under Abbreviations and acronyms dictionary: Find definitions for over 4,219,000 abbreviations, acronyms, and initialisms (http://www.acronymfinder.com) and found the following :

DLCC - Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee
DLCC - Disabled Living Centres Council (UK)
DLCC - Dog Legislation Council of Canada
DLCC - Desert Locust Control Committee (UN Food and Agriculture Organization)
DLCC - Distance Learning Coordinating Committee (Military Education Coordinating Council)
DLCC - Division Logistics Control Center
DLCC - Dark Lords of Carnage and Chaos

I agree, DLCC (as the meaning above) has no place in aviation.
