Fulfill JAR class 1 renewal requirements

Hello everybody! I have problem : I can't get the JAR class 1 certificate due to hypermetropia +4 from my right eye, which means I'm out of the rules because the max difference permitted between the 2 eyes is 2D... In the renewal there's not this rule though!
Is there anything I can do?? I read something about the deviation policy which should permit you to get the certificate according to the renewal rules.. do you know anything about it??

Ok.. I've been looking around the internet and found out that if I get the FAA CPL first and ask for JAR class 1 certificate, I would be examined according to renewal rules so I should be fine to get the certificate! Is this true???
