Dear all,
I am thinking to apply to KAL for 737 f/o position.
As I never used recruitment agencies before, I nead some advise.
I saw at least 3 agencies post recruitment announce: Direct Personnel, Rishworth and Cambridge Communications. My first question is: should I choose one of them or apply through all of them? What are the concequences if I apply for the same position through more than one of them? Second: does anybody knows in details what are the assessment steps and which are more tricky and or restrictive? Third: I am 42 and so far I never had any medical or sim problems; anyway, if for chance I fail a medical and or sim test, does this can affect my career or my appliance to another company? I mean: if they have some parameter about sight/colour capabilities that are more restrictive than other medical centers or if they have more sofisticated equipment and they find more deep and minor defects, could they invelidate my actual medical certificate? If I fail a simulator, may they invalidate my type rating? Maybe these questions seem a bit banal or stupid, but it would be the first time I have a complete check in a different country and face with different culture and procedures.
Thank you so much iu advance to all that would like to help and answer to my questions.

You would only have a problem reapplying at that specific company

Hi,

it wonŽt help to apply at all 3 agencies, one is enough, all 3 of them have lots of experience with KAL. So choose one! IŽm with Rishworth and have no complains.
The medical check is very very restrictive, if you know some minors already, better bring a documentation of it to the screening. The sim is easy although many pilots fail there. For me it seems they are looking for guys who can really life with and fully accept asian mentality. If you do so youŽll be really fine there. But you have to be aware of the fact that there is no F/O upgrade program which means for you that if you want to get a left hand seat you have to change the company.

Best of luck :ok:
