Hi all,
I noticed about 2 days ago a small (it feels like a gland??) lump on the side of my throat,
It is about half way up, I have been a bit chocked up the last 2 days.
It hurts a wee bit and when swallowing,
I'm kinda worried its the big C :\

I dont drink, smoke,
I am not overweight but big built
and Bloody Worried

NHS is shut up till Tuesday and no way will I get an appointment
Before the end of the week,

Is it ok just leave it a couple of weeks? See if it goes away??????

From personal experience it sounds like an abcess, I had a HUGE* one which had grown rapidly from a small lump, and it needs to be seen as soon as possible. I don't know where you've got the idea that the NHS is shut until Tuesday but there IS an emergency service available to everyone. Go and get it looked at before it gets out of hand. If you don't go you may end up far sicker than you think and off work far longer than you or your boss would like.
