Hello all,

Just wondering why Virgin are using G-VSEA A343 to NRT today, it's usually the A346 on this route...

Happy New Year

Airlines change aircraft types quite often. It's nothing unusual..

A million different reasons for a situation that, as HD says, is not unusual. Most reasonable explanation I would think is the scheduled aircraft had gone tech and the next available like-for-like replacement was a 343...

VS have used a 343 thirteen times in that route this year. So as above not that unusual

Could be due to seasonal passenger demand variations. I guess NRT was not filling the A346 and another route usually served by the 343 was busier than usual.

Thanks everyone for replying - guess it isn't so unusual after all.

Becuase the A346 was placed on the core BA buisness routes due to demand before the Planned Strike that was cancelled.
