Vale Tony Norman, RFDS West ops, his long battle with the big C ended this morning.
Our thoughts are with his family.

Yes he was "airmed" on here.
He certainly brightened up life in Meeka, many a shin dig was held at his place!!! He never let the illness get him down and always put a positive spin on things.

RIP Tony... I wish I had the chance to talk to you one last time. You were a man of spirit and never lost that. An inspiration.
Meekatharra won't be the same without you!
Our thoughts are with Doris and the family. What a Christmas for them...
Tony's Pizzeria has now officially quietly closed its doors. We'll miss you mate! :sad:

RIP Tony. A short time here; but long memories of time spent having a few drinks at various places.

Can anyone advise when the funeral will be held?

RIP Tony. You will be missed.
Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, 30th Dec. 2009 at 10 am. St. Mary's Church East St. Kilda , 208 Dandenong Road St.
Doris has asked that a donation be made to the RFDS in lieu of flowers.
Edit: After the services at St. Mary's Catholic Church there will be a gathering/wake at the College Lawn Hotel, Greville St, Prahran.
