Arrived at Manchester airport at 06:30 this morning to meet the inboard Qatar flight, and after several hours of waiting discovered it was in Birmingham with no further information available. I took a drive over to the Airport Hotel and found a few guys who had come in as the Viewing Park was closed. It was a great decision, was warm, cheaper parking (worked out at a quid overall), nice bacon sarnies and some guys who were giving me regular status updates :-) Eventually my other half and I were back together by 15:00.
