I hear from a colleague that Dick Pringle has died. If it is the same guy who flew for Anglo American in the early '60s then remember him from when I was a teenager. He used to fly to Welkom, in the Free State, a couple of times a week and wld love to know if any one out there has more info on him or even a pic for that matter. Dick would have been in his late to middle 80s by now. RIP
From the title I thought this was going to be about some nasty tropical disease

Must be the Dick Pringle who ended his career at Metro Cash & Carry.

Yes a character indeed!
Saw lots of him & his wife when running the Metro office at Rand Airport.
