I don't know
But the site of 4 toasters, 2 blenders and a clothes dryer on the roads would be interesting.

Latest report states: "Dr Edelsten was reportedly doing his first solo flight this morning when he crashed on take off."

Hmmmmm - salubrious start to his chopper career :ugh:

salubrious

A word often used in all the wrong context by most people. But in this case.....well maybe pranging a chopper is not "conducive to or giving of good health". He is apparently a Dr of the medical variety so he should be able to fix himself up.

I bet the new bride will be on his case tonight.......nag nag nag.....She almost inherited! :ouch:

Hope he gets back to it soon and does not give it away, the more folk spending their millions in the industry the better!

Just heard on local Melbourne radio. Dr Geoffrey Edelsten has had an accident on first solo flight. Reports the heli was lifting off and yawed to the left and rolled to the right before impacting the ground on it's side. No major injuries but dreaded end to a first solo!

I thought it would be longer than that after the Wedding before he had an ''accident''. :E

I dispatched the wrong appliances!!!!
Should have had 4 hair dryers, 2 hair straighterners and a large aerial comb dispatched with 100 hair dressers and 2000 litres of shampoo

I am getting sea sick trying to follow this topic. ;)

It was in R+N, then someone merged a topic from Questions into it, now the whole merged topic has been moved back to Questions.

Very hard to follow for some of us Seniors. :E

Poor old Doc....got severly bitten by the "flying bug" causing him to crash :E

Was it his own chopper or was it a hire one?

Well, good on him for getting his own "chopper" up! :ok:

maybe some left-over Viagra into Geoffrey's chopper fuel tank would have helped keep it up longer.

He should think himself very lucky indeed! Otherwise there would have been yet another aircraft type added to the 'Doctor Killer' class.:uhoh::E
