DGCA Class 1 Renewal

I cleared my indian Class 1 a few year back.now its time for my 3rd renewal but i was told that the 4th medical needs to be done either at AFCME or IAM.i have confirmed this from 2 different sources but what i would like to know is does this apply for every fourth MEDICAL or every fourth RENEWAL.

as mentioned earlier this is my 3rd RENEWAL but 4th MEDICAL

Hi,

My friends did their 4th medical in Pune and Hyderabad.
But when I asked for PMR forwarding, I was told the same thing what you have mentioned.

4th Medical, which is 3rd renewal has to be done at Delhi or Bangalore.
He checked the status online, and had all my medical dates available with him,
and confirmed that it is my 4th medical, and has to be done at Delhi / Bangalore.

the third renewal can be conducted at any of the medical centers listed in this document - http://www.dgca.gov.in/medical/c1exam.pdf

The rule indeed was as mentioned above, 4th medical earlier but now, its been amended since the 3 facilities donot have the capacity to handle so many candidates on a regular basis.
The 4th renewal or the 5th medical that has to be conducted in Bangalore/Delhi/Jorhat.
