It's on the Beeb, so it must be right.

What it doesn't seem to say is if the adjustment is dynamic. In fact, it sounds like it's not. But, the tv guy, implies that he can go from scene to laptop to camera etc.

Just read an article in the Times about this. They suggest that the IOL will be completely adjustable in the first couple of weeks following implant, during which time the patient will have to wear UV blocking glasses and avoid bright sunlight. The reason for this is that UV light is used to "fix" the lens. After this period, the entire lens is "fixed" and that's that!

Sounds fantastic!
