They have laid down stipulations that must be adhered to and from what I have heard and seen this week, airside, the front runner would appear to be swissport.

UPS have laid down stipulations that must be adhered to.......i bet one of those is that at least one swissport member is on stand when the aircraft pulls on stand.

This is the season to be jolly.....ho ho ho

my my how things change. day 1....10 bods turn it round......a week later nobody on shift to check it in.......2 days ago, pulls on stand and sits in hotel mode for 10 mins as 3 bods stand and look at it, 5 mins later they walk across the stand to get some chocks, then they descide to get the 28v plug from the top of the stand, and hey presto, they can shut down. this is shocking, save yourself a couple of quid and look what you get. p##s poor handling, which rumour has it is the name for the new company that will take the FR contract from swissport. They wont bother changing the staff though, just a more apt name ;-0

Thing is - Servisair ramp dont own any main deck hylos, they are all with cargo and these guys need them all the time, so that is an unlikely route to get them, unless they hire them off Aviance - as they are less likely to use theirs if UPS go walkabout ...

Thats all very true....so long as servisair hold onto their work

That wont be such a problem now ;)

I reckon UPS have known all along what the picture has been with
regard to the Aviance / Servsair deal. Further complicated by the fact
Aviance STN reported to Plane Handling, so Dnata could also have been in
the picture. (Emirates were visitors a couple of weeks ago and obviously
decided they didn't want STN as part of the Plane deal they've bought)

Interesting to see who UPS eventually signs with as could obviously
impact on the new Serviance group !

stansted sucks
