Anyone know a decent bit of software that will let me put my RAF logbook on computer?

Look, I fly a jet where the nav plays with the FMS. I've got the computer skills of a handcuffed crab. Dumb truckie pilot. Please help.

If you have a palm pilot or handspring visor there is a good program called, imaginatively, Pilot Log or Palm Log..can't remember which..so long since i last flew!! It will store all your flights and even work out your currencies for you. It is free to download and own. Bloody clever bits of kit these computer thingies!

If you want an online version, try www.e-logbooks.co.uk (http://www.e-logbooks.co.uk) , which was recently discussed on this board, and has some well-known names...

Try the Transair catalogue. They have a website with everything on.

This link goes to a website where you can back-up your logbook online: (Note Capt PPrune's logbook is available to view here)
http://millen.test.uk.concentric.com/pilots/index.asp

I just downloaded a trial of Skylog, which looks OK and is accepted by the CAA. Available here:
http://www.avnet.co.uk/gtaviatn/skylog/

Hope this helps, and I guessed who you are!!!

Ok, you bloody FJ muppet, I knocked together in about two mins a copy of my civvie log book (don't have a mil one....not even a dumb truckie pilot as you suggested :)

Obviously a mil logbook will be different, but you can easily retype some of the headings

get it at:

http://www.geocities.com/sugar_junkieuk/

If you want to post the column headings from a mil logbook, I will knock together a better/more appropriate logbook for you, and if you are a good boy, I might make it look a bit nicer for you.

SJ

Edited because of Geocities being bloody-minded
