The original voice of football, Kenneth Wolstenholme, died last night at the age of 81. Who will ever forget his immortal phrase - so long as you were old enough of course - in the 1966 World Cup Final at Wembley.. .. .Ken had another claim to fame. He was a WW11 Bomber pilot throughout the war and was awarded a DFC for his low level daylight raids and then as a member of the Pathfinder force. He was awarded a bar to his DFC after a further 100 operations and for continuous duties as a Pathfinder.. .. .Another of our great fighting men passes into history - but he will not be forgotten.. . . . <small>[ 26 March 2002, 17:05: Message edited by: InFinRetirement ]</small>
