Is there any way to make all airports highlight or stand out in Google Earth?
I love using this program for planning ultra long x-countries but unless you know that an airport exist in a certain spot it's difficult to find them. especially small out of the way airports.

The database in this thread has some 10,000+, might be a bit busy tho!

Under transportation in the side bar you can tick the airport box, but it only shows major ones that handle passenger flights, I suspect that's not what your after.
Other than that all you can do is spend a long time going over the country or feed in the lat/long from one of the publications or from a chart, putting markers on each airfield as you find them.

Some years ago I wrote a program which converts a text file list of
lat long name
to a KML file. Just double-click on the KML file to place the
points on Google Earth.
I've uploaded the program, sample data and KML results to my web site.

I haven't used the program for a long time, so YMMV (or YKMV).
They've updated the Google Earth data so some of my marks are out of date.
