Weird question guys I know but I have a contractual obligation to provide an aircraft in the same class as a Lear 60 but I can't get one near were it needs to be.

Thanks in advance

Farmpilot:

I do not know much about the CJ3 but the older Citation 3 (650) would be quite similar to the Lear 60.

That's a safe no! In the same class would be a Hawker 750/800/850 Citation XLS or even G100/150.

Hope this helps.

I'd say quite frankly that the best comparision would be a citation xls. That's for the cabin only. Performance wise the space shuttle is next!!! Together with it's cons, like the runway lenght needed especially for landing on a wet runway. Forget Cannes and all that stuff even dry commercial. Dry private it's ok but private wet you can't! Even Farnborough is tricky commercially wet so beware! For the range I would compare it to a Hawker 800. Pax like the 60 but they feel it can be noisy at times. Anyway if you're looking for a great airplane to fly only 6500 foot runways and above for a range between 700 and 1500 miles then that's the right choice!
Hope that helps

Ended up using a Hawker 4000. I know, I know, it's not in either of the classes I asked about but was all that as available in my neck of the woods.

Thanks again for the info.
