ARMED FORCES AMONG 100 BEST COMPANIES TO WORK FOR

Well, no, none of our armed forces feature among The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For. The Armed Forces are not a company, although the Government might disagee. Maybe thats why they keep employing busines consultants who know nothing about anything to come up with dumb ideas.

Having left the RAF last year and now working for an airline, I'm beginning to realise the RAF weren't so bad!

Hello People.. .. .I left about 7 years ago and am now trying to get back in as rearcrew. Arguably, I'll have to relinquish some of my civvy freedom, but I still think it's the thing for me to do. . .. .Most of us tend to think that things are always better on the other side. Some things definitely are, but here in civvy street, you don't get to play with big boys' toys and the comraderie that exists within the forces compensate for some of the akward rules. I think that this is my main point. When you're in, you're in the family and when you're out, your on your own matey!. .. .We earth dwellers will never be happy with our lot and we will always be wishing for what someone else's got. . .. .Once you've been brainwashed to think military, you'll always think military and adjusting to civvy life could be a bit of a challenge for some of us. I got out 'cause they wanted me to take the long route to commissioning. I haven't wasted these last 7 years, I got a degree and now it is time to try again. . .. .People, do what you feel is right, but do some research before you bail.. .. .My thoughts are with you.. .. .Jaap.. .. .Is this an oxymoron?
