It would appear that my family and I have acted badly in regard to a fine member of the RAFs SHF by treating his home poorly while living in it last year.. .. .I am unable to make my apologies in person, but as soon as the sun comes up in the UK I will do so over the phone. . .. .My sincere regrets at causing anyone any stress or extra work, it was never our intent.. .. .Our deepest, heartfelt apologies to all who consider they should receive one regarding this matter.. .. .Email me please to see if we can find a way to make amends .... .. .B

We received a letter from our exchange hosts describing all the things we did wrong while we were on a house swap last year. They were all fair concerns and complaints but five months after we left the dwelling, with not a word from the returning occupants before that at all, let alone a list of grievances.. .. .It has upset us greatly that good friennds we made while with the RAF may well have formed a poor opinion of my family and I based upon these grievances which have had five months to fester without attention from us.. .. .It also brings discredit upon my service and my country.. .. .So I will do ANYTHING I can do to clear the air (including a post on PPRUNE to publicly apologise).. .. .I would appreciate hearing from the officer I exchanged with if anyone knows where he is right now so I can find a way to make amends with him and his friends, whom I had until recently counted as friends of my family also.
