License Oral Exams are they coming back?

Anyone heard a rumor about the CAA bringing oral exams back?

I heard that because of the poor communication skills and the recent influx of Part 66 applications has forced the CAA to consider bringing the oral exams back.

The CAA can't bring back Oral Exams on their own (much as most would like them to) because they now work to their unique interpretation of EASA Part 66.

They MAY, however, try to prove that some applicant's can't manage a suitable level of the english language to perform a technical debrief?

I'm only guessing, of course.

I believe they are back in some form. Part of the PCT training for new aircraft types requires an hour or two interview with an examiner. :eek:
