Anybody who did a self-sponsored TR since the beginning of the recession, and have some valueable information about the chances of getting hired?

I am considering a A320 TR at Cockpit4u in Berlin, but I still have some doubts about:
- jobs afterwards (Wizz Air/Air Berlin chances etc)
- to book with or without line training of 300h/500h

I'm just very curious if it's really a opportunity I guess.

No RYR for me

With some many type rated pilots with experience on the market I suggest not to go ahead. If you do only do so after the operator indicates that they will hire you :\

Some of my mates from flightschool did A320 ratings afterwards, nobody of them got a job yet. One of them just started self funded linetraining....
And by the way nobody of them got a callback from Wizzair
I think the T/R alone is worth absolutely nothing. With 500h linetraining you might have a chance of getting a job in Asia or middle east... But it's still a huge amount of money and a big gamble.....
