The Jim Younkin Mullicoupe - combining the heritage of the Monocoupe racer and Ben Howard's Mister Mulligan - was wrecked 10 Nov. after a power failure (http://aviation-safety.net/wikibase/wiki.php?id=70037). The pilot suffered serious injury but is expected to survive.

EDIT: Pilot report (http://www.airbum.com/pireps/PirepMullicoupe.html) on both the Mullicoupe and Mister Mulligan

Apparent fuel starvation (http://ntsb.gov/ntsb/brief2.asp?ev_id=20091110X71112&ntsbno=CEN10LA046&akey=1)

But the inspector needs a refresher in counting wings:
A Federal Aviation Administration inspector examined the airplane on the day of the accident and found three of the four wings and the empennage separated from the airplane.

This is hard to do, since the Mullicoupe is a high-wing monoplane!
